Bill C-484 The Unborn Victims of Violence Bill
On Behalf of the President and our Board of Directors, Canadians for Moral Clarity would like to say thank you for your action over the last several months. Persistent and unified communication from pro family groups in Canada has meant some amazing decisions have been made in this nation!
Take a look at what your involvement has accomplished:
- Sam Golubchuk will not have his life-sustaining care removed by the hospital caring for him.
- Dr. Henry Morgentaler (who established abortion clinics in Canada) will not be awarded the Order of Canada.
- The age of consent has been raised from 14 to 16 years old.

This bill is at a critical stage and we need your participation to see it pass to Committee stage in Ottawa. Dear Sir/Madam:
My name is (*) and I am writing you on behalf of Canadians for Moral Clarity. I wanted to take a minute to communicate my support for a bill being presented to the House that deals with violence and the unborn victims of it. Bill C-484 is a bill that seeks to help prevent, or punish, a violent attack against an expectant mother when the attacker knows that the attack could cause harm to the wanted child that mother is carrying. I, along with a 75% majority of women polled in Canada (Environics 2007) would like to see Legislation that makes it a separate offence to injure or kill an unborn child during an attack on the mother recognized by our Criminal Code. Please see that this bill goes to committee, where any concerns you may have about its true intent can be dealt with transparently.

URGENT REQUEST No. 2
Premier Dalton McGuinty has asked for a review of the Lord’s Prayer and its use in the Ontario Legislature.
An MPP by the name of Jim Wilson has set up a petition on his website maintaining that Dalton McGuinty should leave the Lord's Prayer alone and allow it to continue to be read in the Ontario Legislature.
We are asking you to go to his site: www.jimwilsonmpp.com and look at the top right hand corner where you will find a tab that says “Petitions”. Click on that tab and follow the prompts. Signing this petition will take a couple of minutes and will help in Jim Wilson’s presentation of his stand and the support that he has from the voting public.
We can work together and continue to see change in this nation.
