- Our Role as Gods’ Children:

- Genesis 1:26-30 (Our Responsibility)
We have been set or appointed as “stewards” and this appointment
requires our participation. It is an action word.
appointment
= authority = accountability = responsibility
responsibility:
1. the quality or state of being responsible as a
moral, legal
or mental accountability.
2. something for which one is responsible
responsible:
1. able to answer for one’s conduct and obligations,
able to
choose for oneself between right and wrong.
What does this mean to you? We have a unique
opportunity in Canada
to choose the people who represent us. Our responsibility
lies in choosing
good stewards to represent our needs in the government of
this nation.
We cannot afford to randomly cast our votes in Canada but
need to
make wise choices based on an effort to know the candidates
and
discovering their stands on various issues. Learn about the
candidates in
your riding- their character, values, integrity and where
they stand.
* When
we carefully consider our vote, we act responsibly and fulfill
a part of our
mandate as a believer.
Pastors/Spiritual leaders should lead on moral issues not
only in their
churches, but in the community, and the nation. Christians
ought to lead
in a way that others will follow. *
